CALLING ALL HONORS PROGRAM STUDENTS!
You are invited to participate in two upcoming
PEER REVIEW SESSIONS
for your
HTCC STUDENT RESEARCH CONFERENCE PROPOSAL ABSTRACT
Wednesday, November 16, 2:00-3:00, B 106
Thursday, November 17, 3:00-4:00, BST 120
These sessions are sponsored by the Honors Scholars Council and are open to anyone who is interested in applying for the HTCC Conference that will be held on March 31, 2012 at UC Irvine. Just bring a rough draft of your 250-word conference proposal describing your research project for an oral or poster presentation. You are welcome to attend no matter how “rough” your draft is! Don’t miss this opportunity to receive valuable feedback on your abstract and your project!
A draft of the conference proposal is due to Dr. Kay Ryals on November 28, 2011, but you will have until mid-December to finish your 250-word proposal. Don’t be frightened away: You will have time to complete your project and your abstract and to meet the conference deadline. Instructions for the proposal abstract, tips on writing an effective one, and sample award-winning abstracts are available on the HTCC website conference homepage. Look in the box labeled “Resources for Presenters” in the left-hand column. For this information and more details about the conference, please consult the conference website at:

Hope to see you all there!! :)
